Meet our team

Ashley Hall-Green has served in the field of education for over 14 years at all grade levels, K-12. As a Dean of Curriculum and Instruction and Principal in traditional and charter public schools, she has transformed school culture, climate, and student performance. She holds a BA from University of Toledo in Communication/African American Studies and a Master of Education in School Administration from Indiana Wesleyan. In her early years as teacher in elementary and middle schools, Hall-Green discovered that issues with student behavior often stemmed from misconceptions of the curriculum, poor pedagogical practices, and low engagement. She was compelled to enter leadership in order to work with teachers, students, families, and the community to support all areas of student achievement—turning around failing schools and empowering continuous improvement. She believes that effective and relevant instructional best practices, data and growth monitoring, and parent participation are all paramount to school and student success.

D Dillard joined ACCEL Schools in 2017 with over 12 years of experience in a variety of roles in education. Prior to joining ACCEL Schools, Ms. Dillard worked for ICAN Schools. Ms. Dillard is a proud graduate of the Cleveland public school system and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. In 2008 she was recognized as a “Rainmaker of Tomorrow” by Northern Ohio Live. Under her leadership, Lake Erie Prep has become one of the top-performing schools in Cleveland and decorated with multiple A-ratings from the Ohio Department of Education.
